Downtown Pittsburgh Elopement at the Fairmont Pittsburgh

Like almost all 2020 brides, COVID-19 threw a huge wrench in Maggie & Cam’s original big wedding bash plans. Instead they decided to have an intimate elopement at the Fairmont in Downtown Pittsburgh and we decided to spend the day hopping around to all the spots of the city that were significant to them in their relationship and ended with a gorgeous ceremony on The Fairmont’s Grand Staircase celebrating their loves and the start of their lives as husband and wife. Summer Barn Wedding at Valley View Farms with Lindsey and Mark

Although COVID-19 tried to stop them Lindsey & Mark tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony preformed by the brides brother, in front of their family & friends at the gorgeous Belgian horse farm, Valley View Farms in July of 2020. As goes the story for this year, county restrictions changed shortly before their wedding, causing this sweet couple to cancel their reception completely and have an outdoor ceremony, but regardless of all the changes and uncertainty, Lindsey & Mark knew the most important thing was to become husband and wife on this day as they had planned for so long.

Classic Westminster College Wedding

Angela & Sean met while they were students at Westminster College, so it was only fitting that these two made their love official forever at the campus that brought them together. Although COVID-19 had a major impact on their original plans, guest list, and just about everything-nothing could stop these two from flying home from Alaska to tie the knot at a spot that was so special to them, surrounded by those who love them most. I had the pleasure of capturing Alysen and Andy’s Wedding over the summer at Renshaw Family Farms in Freeport, PA- after such a fun engagement session with them and their pup clover a few years ago, I knew their Wedding day was going to be a fun one! Alysen and Andy are an outdoorsy couple and loved the appeal of Renshaw Farms as their venue because of the cornfields, hay bails, barns, wagon to transport the bridal party around the grounds for photos, and the gorgeous view of the rolling hills in the backdrop. Not to mention the reception venue has a cozy and rustic feel that fits their day and wedding theme perfectly. Alyson and Zach tied the knot at the sweetest little winery about an hour outside the city of Pittsburgh, PA on the second Saturday in June.

Its finally Wedding Season for us over here at Photography by Alexandra Lynn and we couldn’t be more STOKKKEDDDD!!! To start off this year we headed back to SNPJ, an awesome venue that we shot Aubri & Jesse’s Wedding at last fall. This place has an awesome (covered bc its Pittsburgh) area for wedding ceremonies, a HUGE indoor reception area complete with the most epic twinkle lights, and the entire campus is picture perfect for wedding photos.
