Instead they decided to have an intimate elopement at the Fairmont in Downtown Pittsburgh and we decided to spend the day hopping around to all the spots of the city that were significant to them in their relationship and ended with a gorgeous ceremony on The Fairmont’s Grand Staircase celebrating their loves and the start of their lives as husband and wife. Where do I even begin with Dawn & Chase?! Not only are these two some of the coolest people I’ve met, they’re so kind and their love for one another oozes through these images. Their wedding was the perfect indoor/outdoor bash at The Fox Farm, complete with a Pizza Buffet, Donut wall, signature drinks named after their cat, and so many more amazing touches. I always talk about how much I love when my brides & grooms stray from the “traditional” and plan a wedding that truly represents them as a couple and Dawn & Chase did exactly that. Although COVID-19 tried to stop them Lindsey & Mark tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony preformed by the brides brother, in front of their family & friends at the gorgeous Belgian horse farm, Valley View Farms in July of 2020. As goes the story for this year, county restrictions changed shortly before their wedding, causing this sweet couple to cancel their reception completely and have an outdoor ceremony, but regardless of all the changes and uncertainty, Lindsey & Mark knew the most important thing was to become husband and wife on this day as they had planned for so long.

Although COVID-19 had a major impact on their original plans, guest list, and just about everything-nothing could stop these two from flying home from Alaska to tie the knot at a spot that was so special to them, surrounded by those who love them most. These two cuties met for the first time while playing in a corn hole league and we just had to recreate that awesome memory as one of the locations and themes of their engagement session! After the corn hole fun we ended out the evening watching the sun set from the bed of Shawn’s truck. When I met with Jenna and Shawn about their wedding and engagement photos, Shawn lit up and immediately knew he wanted pictures with his truck. So we took that idea and ran with it and created a cute, cozy, drive-in vibe in the bed of his pick up truck to end out their session! From a rock hanging over a cliff to sitting on top of a fern bed admiring the fall view these two were nothing but big smiles all night! Read MoreWhen Maggie booked me to shoot her wedding in 2020 she mentioned that they were currently living in Austin, Texas after graduating college and wanted to get their Engagement photos taken in their new home state. I couldn’t have been more excited to fly down and spend the weekend exploring Austin with Cam, Maggie & Lucy! It was a quick trip, but we made the most of every minute and laughed the entire time along the way! We started their engagement session off at the dog park, followed by a delicious lunch at their favorite ramen spot. After the mornings festivities we headed to a local park to grab some shots along the water before heading over to their favorite paddle boarding spot for a sunset session out on the water! This day was seriously so much fun, Maggie and Cam are total naturals behind the camera, and I am so excited to capture their wedding next fall! Read MoreI had the pleasure of capturing Alysen and Andy’s Wedding over the summer at Renshaw Family Farms in Freeport, PA- after such a fun engagement session with them and their pup clover a few years ago, I knew their Wedding day was going to be a fun one! Alysen and Andy are an outdoorsy couple and loved the appeal of Renshaw Farms as their venue because of the cornfields, hay bails, barns, wagon to transport the bridal party around the grounds for photos, and the gorgeous view of the rolling hills in the backdrop. Not to mention the reception venue has a cozy and rustic feel that fits their day and wedding theme perfectly.
