ENGAGEMENTS

Natalie, Christopher, and little miss Lily were SO. MUCH. FUN. to romp around with on a chilly January afternoon! We started their Engagement Session at McConnell’s Mill where they braved the cold, mud, and ice like total champs! Christopher even overcame his fear of heights when I asked them to climb out onto a super icy rock overlook at McConnell’s Mill State Park, check out the pics below, he looks cool as a cucumber you cant even tell he was the least bit bothered! :)

After warming up a bit and sending Lily home with her grandparents we hit the road to the Strip District in Downtown Pittsburgh to finish out their Engagement Session! From walking on the trails by the water to running around on the top level of a parking garage, these two were so much fun and their love and giddy-ness for each other really shines through in their photos! We were hoping to catch the last bits of fall for their engagement session and Pittsburgh did not disappoint! Lauren & David wanted to have their engagement session in Frick Park because of the many bridges and different landscapes you can capture all in one park. These two were so in love and excited for their session that they had no problem romping around in thirty degree temps while their glam squad (her mom & sister Alysen, another 2019 bride!) waited in the warm car! I can’t wait to get together with this super fun family again for a fourth time next year to capture another celebration- Lauren and Davids Wedding! Jenna and Shawn are another one of my amazing 2020 Wedding coupes and it was so much fun getting to spend time with them this September in North park. These two cuties met for the first time while playing in a corn hole league and we just had to recreate that awesome memory as one of the locations and themes of their engagement session! After the corn hole fun we ended out the evening watching the sun set from the bed of Shawn’s truck. When I met with Jenna and Shawn about their wedding and engagement photos, Shawn lit up and immediately knew he wanted pictures with his truck. So we took that idea and ran with it and created a cute, cozy, drive-in vibe in the bed of his pick up truck to end out their session! We spent a golden afternoon exploring the many awesome cracks and crevices at McConnell’s Mill State Park for Shannon & Emmitt’s Engagement Session. From a rock hanging over a cliff to sitting on top of a fern bed admiring the fall view these two were nothing but big smiles all night! Shannon and Emmitt are perfect for each other and it was so obvious during our session and I think their love really translates in these photos, needless to say I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next fall! When Maggie booked me to shoot her wedding in 2020 she mentioned that they were currently living in Austin, Texas after graduating college and wanted to get their Engagement photos taken in their new home state. I couldn’t have been more excited to fly down and spend the weekend exploring Austin with Cam, Maggie & Lucy! It was a quick trip, but we made the most of every minute and laughed the entire time along the way! We started their engagement session off at the dog park, followed by a delicious lunch at their favorite ramen spot. After the mornings festivities we headed to a local park to grab some shots along the water before heading over to their favorite paddle boarding spot for a sunset session out on the water! This day was seriously so much fun, Maggie and Cam are total naturals behind the camera, and I am so excited to capture their wedding next fall! Sara & Karl are getting married in October of next year and what better way to prep for a fall wedding than with some fall engagement photos at North Park! These two are so adorable together they couldn’t stop giggling and smiling the entire shoot, and their love and excitement for their future together really comes through in the photos! MARIA & I HAVE BEEN FRIENDS SINCE HIGH SCHOOL AND IT WAS A TOTAL HONOR WHEN SHE ASKED ME TO CAPTURE HER ENGAGEMENT SESSION AND WEDDING NEXT SUMMER! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN ROMPING AROUND NORTH PARK SPENDING THE EVENING LAUGHING AND BEING WEIRD WITH HER NEW LIL FAMILY! THESE TWO ARE EFFORTLESSLY IN LOVE AND IT SHOWS IN THE PHOTOS-SCROLL TO SEE THE SUPER SWEET GOODNESS BETWEEN MARIA, HER FIANCE JUSTIN, AND LIL’ MAN GAVIN!

What can I say other than Alex & Erica’s Boulder Colorado Engagement Session was a freaking dream come true. As my first engagement session of the year, I could not have been more excited to shoot it in my favorite state of Colorado! We were hoping for some amazing snowy views since we were shooting in January, but it was a gorgeous sunny 50 degree day! Can’t beat all the goodness and warmth of the Colorado sun. We ventured out to try and catch the sunrise over Lake Arthur, but mother nature had something else in mind and boy was it gorgeous! As we got closer to our location, the snow began to fall heavier and heavier until we were in a total white out, driving no more than 10mph down windy unmaintained state park roads. When we finally reached out first location, it was a full fledged winter wonderland, and Shannon and Bryan totally crushed it! We had SO. MUCH. FUN. watching them playing in the snow, and love on each other. Check out all the goodness from their session below!

Although Lindsey & Jeremy aren’t engaged- they ooze love for each other and thats close enough for me. Scroll through to see some of the awesome shots we got during peak week in western PA. Also can we all just take a minute and recognize how amazinly cute Rosey is.

After newly moving to the area to be by her man, Alysen found me by referral from one of my amazing past brides and we got their engagement session in the books quick! Alysen’s sweetie Andy is a hunter and avid outdoorsmen so a golden hour session immersed in the woods was our perfect fit!
